We have more than 1,000 ATMs throughout the Czech Republic. You can withdraw cash, check your account balance, change your PIN or top up your mobile phone credit. You can also deposit cash at selected ATMs.

What ATMs can do?
- Contactless withdrawals – you tap your card or mobile phone or smartwatch which has a contactless-enabled card, enter your PIN and make your withdrawal.
- Top-ups and payments to mobile operators – top up your credit or pay your bill.
- Change your PIN – you can change the PIN for both Visa and MasterCard by inserting your physical card into the ATM and following the on-screen instructions.
- Cash withdrawals – you can withdraw up to CZK 200,000 – anywhere, 24 hours a day.
- Smart Key – you can generate an activation code for the Smart app.
- EPIN – you can set or change your EPIN.
We also have deposit ATMs
You can not only withdraw money, but also deposit it for free - not only to the account linked to your card, but also to another account within ČSOB, provided you know its number.
You can deposit a maximum of 200 banknotes per deposit and CZK 350,000 in total. You can deposit banknotes in denominations from CZK 100 to CZK 5,000. With each deposit, you will receive a printed receipt with a description of the inserted banknotes.
If you deposit before 8:00 p.m. on a business day, money will be credited to your account the same day. Later in the day or outside working days, money will be added to your account the next working day.

You want to make a complaint about an ATM transaction
To resolve a complaint, please visit one of our branches, e-mail us at info@csob.cz, or call +420 495 300 300. The time limit for handling a complaint or grievance is 30 days from filing.
Your payment card has been lost or stolen
Contact us immediately at 495 800 111 and we will temporarily block your card.
You suspect the ATM has been tampered with
Contact the police, your card issuer or ATM operator. Your vigilance protects you and other ATM users.
Forgotten cash at the ATM
If you forget your money in the ATM (it happens), the cash will go back into the ATM after a while. We do our best to refund your account immediately - in such cases we will inform you by text message. If we are unable to refund your money, please make a claim.
Security tips for ATMs
How to protect your PIN and card
When you receive your PIN from us, remember it well. Never write it down on a payment card, carry it on a piece of paper in your wallet, or share it with your family, bank staff, police or shopkeepers. Basically nobody. Do not let your payment card out of your sight, as this would put it at unnecessary risk of misuse.
You don't necessarily need a payment card to access the ATM at branches
Most branches are equipped with a contactless reader, where you just need to attach any card to the reader.
How to withdraw money safely
Before using the ATM, check the card slot and the banknote dispensing slot for anything suspicious. When entering your PIN, stand close to the ATM and always cover the keypad with your hand. At the end, remember to take your cash, payment card and, if necessary, a receipt. Put everything in a safe place before you leave. Never leave the ATM before completing your withdrawal.
How contactless withdrawals work
All ČSOB ATMs are now contactless. Log in to the ATM by tapping your payment card (or mobile phone, smartwatch, etc., which has a contactless-enabled card) to the reader. Then just enter your PIN. This avoids the risk of fraudsters copying your card (skimming), which is only possible with normal card use. If you leave before the transaction is complete, the ATM will switch to the home screen after a while and you need to insert your card again.
What Skimming is and how to protect yourself against it
Skimming is the technical term for copying the magnetic strip of credit cards and then making illegal copies with the intent of misuse. It can happen directly at the ATM or when you open the door with your card.
How to protect yourself?
- Always protect your PIN and do not let anyone look over your shoulder
- When entering your PIN, cover the keypad with your hand
- If you suspect anything unusual do not insert your card into the ATM and immediately call us
- To access an ATM located in a secure area, use a different card than the one you are withdrawing from the ATM
How the cash retention bar works
This bar is used by fraudsters to hold cash inside the ATM and create the impression that the machine did not dispense the money. As soon as the customer leaves the ATM, the fraudster takes the bar and the cash.
How can you protect yourself?
Before using the ATM, check that it looks normal and does not show signs of tampering. If the ATM does not dispense cash without a notification on the screen, contact us immediately at +420 495 300 300 and do not leave the ATM.
