Setting up statements in the CEB service

  1. Set up or check your electronic statement settings easily in the CEB service. Select Accounts, Statements and advices, Settings in the main menu.
  2. In the account overview, select the account you want to set up – you can set up multiple statement types as well as various combinations (e.g. multiple frequencies).
  3. Set up human-readable Statements – select the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly), format (PDF or text) and the language used in the statement template. Then simply Save the settings.
  4. The service also offers Data statements, which are intended for processing in accounting software. Again, you will set up the frequency, format (e.g. GPC – format specifications are available on the service website) and the language applied to the selected data fields.
  5. Data Advices are used for automatic processing of data during the day and for even faster accounting. Again, multiple formats are available. Select the one your accounting software supports.

  10. The notification has been created, and you can go Back to list.
  11. There are multiple notifications the service offers, and you can also create the same notification for multiple recipients (e.g. you can send statements to multiple addresses). 2. To upload a file from your device, use the Upload File button. If you have a printed QR code on an invoice, use the Turn on Camera button.

  5. Once the data is successfully read, the form will be filled in and a confirmation message is shown. You can just check and authorize.

Temporary blocking of a payment card

  1. A temporarily blocked card will stop working almost immediately for ATM withdrawals, online payments, and both contact and contactless payments. If the card is added to your mobile wallet, you will also be unable to pay by mobile until you unblock it.
  2. Sign in to CEB and select Cards from the main menu, then continute to the Card list page.
  3. In the Card Overview, click the card you want to temporarily block and select Settings at the bottom of the page.
  4. Here you can view basic information and the available settings for your payment card. Click the Block card button.

  6. Select Temporary blocking as the blocking type, enter the reason in the Reason for blocking field, and click Authorize.
  7. Confirm the temporary card blocking request in the Smart Key mobile application. Once it has been successfully confirmed, you will be notified that the card has been temporarily blocked.
  8. To unblock the card, follow a similar procedure. In the Card Overview, select the temporarily blocked card you want to unblock and click Settings.
  9. Click Unblock card. You may optionally enter a reason for unblocking the card. Then click Authorize.
  10. Confirm the card unblocking request in the Smart Key mobile application. Once it has been successfully confirmed, you will be notified that the card has been unblocked.
  11. You can also temporarily block or unblock the card in the CEB Mobile application. The procedure is similar.

Cross-border payment

  1. Go to the menu Payments – Cross-border order for cross-border payments. In general, you can enter any foreign currency transfer abroad here (including EUR – where SEPA transfer will be better option to enter purely SEPA payment), also you can transfer foreign currency within CZ, or send payment in CZK to foreign bank. Technically, also CZK transfer within CZ can be entered this way – regular domestic Payment order will be better for this purpose though.
  2. Choose the account to be debited and the amount. The beneficiary can be entered manually, or templates or counterparties list can be used. SWIFT code of the counterparty bank can be derived from the IBAN using the As in IBAN feature. If you untick the Automatic processing of the payment, you can enter different account format besides IBAN or provide text description of the payee; also, the bank can be entered other way than via SWIFT/BIC code. Mandatory field is the counterparty name (at least three chars, cannot be identical).
  3. Counterparty address is optional in general, can be required for some countries or currencies. If any part is entered, minimum Country and Town have to be filled in. You can enter usual fields such as town, street etc., but also less usual fields offered by the form.
  4. Last section is to provide your own reference, identification (E2E identification) and enter the fees logic (the service will provide you with options available, in most cases it will be shared, SHA fees). The Purpose of the payment needs to be filled in – recommended is English or language of the counterparty bank. Instruction to the bank will be available only if the option for Automatic processing was not chosen – and you can enter specific requirements towards ČSOB (e.g. conversion rate if such was negotiated in advance).
  5. Within Authorization the service will recap the information entered, the transaction can be signed by a Smart key or chip card; or you can save it for later to the waiting room; in case of single authorization the payment initiation is done now. More on cross-border payments and specific requirements can be found at www.csob.cz/foreignpayments.

Standing order

  1. Standing, repeated orders can be setup in the Payments – Standing orders menu. You can enter all kinds – domestic, cross-border or SEPA transfers, the choice is yours.
  2. Each tab represents overview of standing orders that were already set up in its category. You can use filtering (search), export, or you can Create new.
  3. Attributes of a standing order are the same as for regular order – you can also use the same helping features, such as creating it from a template. The only difference is the way the order is to be repeatedly processed.
  4. You will enter the date of First payment, make a choice of Frequency (working days, each day, once a month etc.), and according to the account type, you define either Valid till date (after this date, there will be no more instances) or Last payment (this date will process the last transfer, independently on the frequency set). If you would rather know exact number of payments that are to be sent, you can define the validity via According to the number of payments option.
  5. You can save the order to the waiting room or Authorize it right away – should you be the only person to sign, then it is done. Authorized order will be saved to the overview and will be processed as defined.
  6. For the existing order that is regularly processed, you can also Skip payments and easily postpone the Next payment date for later – this either to change the payment date, or to postpone it for e.g. few months.

Import of payment batches

  1. You can import batches from your ERP or other software in the Payments – Imports – Import of orders menu. On the CEB service webpage, you will find list of available formats, including sample files. Domestic, cross-border or SEPA transfers can be imported this way; each batch can contain up to 10 thousands of individual payments or collections.
  2. For each import you can provide optional name, but more importantly you need to choose the Format, i.e. the way the CEB service will parse and interpret the data in the file. Besides that, you also select the error handling within import process and its processing (standard is a batch, but you can also create individual orders outta the batch). To provide a way to the file, you can either open file explorer or use Drag & Drop feature; after that, you can start the Import process itself.
  3. The file is transferred and processed now. The option to Authorize will take you directly to the waiting room where checks and signing can take place (typically when all the orders are correct). The option Go to list of imports will take you to the imports overview – where you can find key information (especially if some errors in processing happened).
  4. Import list shows information on the imports that have already been made by any user, or via the Business Connector service. You can verify the hash here (MD5 hash), and overall information on number of transactions and sum (per account, transaction type and possibly in different currencies). Protocol is to be used when any error occurs – it will direct you to exact row and position with an error. The Delete option works only for the information about the import – it has no impact on the payment batch as such.
  5. Last screen shows waiting room, where you can Authorize the batch or batches created by import. You can also view Detail to the level of individual orders. If allowed on the contract level, you can modify or delete individual orders; also, those can be corrected if some of them bear errors (the format of the file was correct, but there was incorrect e.g. the counterparty bank code).
