When you first hear about client mobility

To make account changing as easy as possible, banks follow so-called client mobility. In short, it means that they take care of the transfer between accounts themselves, so you only need to provide a minimum of information.

In addition to setting up new authorisations be sure to notify all the companies with which you have set up direct debit authorisations on your account about the account change.

Frequently asked questions

Who should I inform about the account change?

Be sure to report the change to:

  • Your employer so it knows where to send your salary
  • School canteen, day care, and other institutions to which you send money
  • Your telephone operator and your Internet and energy providers

TIP: o make it as easy as possible for you to report your account number change, we have prepared this form. Simply fill it out, send it, and that is it.

What to keep in mind when transferring your account
  • It is best to leave enough funds in your original account to cover any outstanding standing orders, direct debits, and SIPO payments. Once your account is closed, we will transfer the remaining funds to your new account with us.
  • Keep your payment card for your old account until you receive our card.
  • Do not cancel your old account immediately if you are paying off loans or credits (credit card, overdraft, mortgage, etc.) and you have not yet agreed with your original bank to pay from your new account.

If you are unsure about anything, we will be happy to help you at any branch or on our Helpline +420 495 300 300.
