Do you need to withdraw or deposit money? Just find our nearest ATM, branch, post office or CashBack shop.
How to withdraw money
ATMs
You can withdraw money at any time at over 1,000 ATMs throughout the Czech Republic. The advantages are lower fees and 24 hours a day availability.
TIP: Do you use a smartphone? Use the ČSOB ČSOB Smart application to simply find the nearest ATM. Or you can see what our ATMs can do.
Branches
You can withdraw cash at more than 200 branches – at a counter or directly from an ATM. Some branches have technical and security reasons for setting limits for cash withdrawals, which they state on their notice boards (call your branch for more detailed information).
If you need to make an above limit withdrawal, let us know in advance. We’ll be happy to prepare the cash for you.
How to make above limit cash withdrawals
Notify us of the amount to be withdrawn at least 2 days in advance:
- Electronically via the form Objednat výběr hotovosti, that will be sent directly to your chosen branch
- By phone to your banker or on the +420 495 300 300 line
- Personally at the relevant branch by the Cash Withdrawal Notification (only in Czech)
If you would like the amount to be paid out in a precise combination of banknotes and coins, please also fill in a cash breakdown list.
Note: Due to legal obligations, we may ask you to show ID. For some types of operations, we may ask for information about the origin and purpose of the funds.
Post Offices
You can also even withdraw money in places where there are no branches or ATMs – use one of more than 3,200 post offices throughout the Czech Republic.
- You can set the withdrawal limits independently for ATMs and card payments at retailers
- Withdrawing money at a post office is cheaper than at a branch
- Some post offices are even open in the evening or on the weekend

CashBack
With CashBack, you can withdraw from selected stores. Just make a purchase for at least the minimum amount requested by the merchant and ask the cashier for a cash withdrawal, which will be added to the purchase price (can be withdrawn in multiples of CZK 100).
The CashBack logo can be found, for example, at Albert, Globus, COOP, at EuroOil petrol stations, or at Teta.

How to deposit money
Deposit ATMs
You can also deposit money outside of branch hours at more than 300 deposit ATMs.
- Deposits are free – you can make a deposit at any time
- The money is in the account immediately – with deposits made before 9:30 p.m. on working days
- You can deposit up to CZK 350,000 at one time – however 200 banknotes at most

Post Offices
Deposit money at more than 2,900 Czech Post Offices.
- The deposit is fast – the money is immediately credited to the account, or by the next working day at the latest
- You can make a deposit in the evening or at the weekend – at some post offices you can also make a deposit outside bank office hours
- Set up for free on your card – card deposits into your account are automatically permitted

Branches
You have the greatest opportunity to make cash deposits at a branch. You can make deposits in CZK and foreign currencies at our branches (we accept cash in CZK for accounts at other banks).
Third party deposits
A third party can deposit money into a current account or by credit to a credit card. If cash in a foreign currency isn’t deposited by the account holder, we may limit the amount of accepted cash or range of provided services.
Above limit deposits
We may ask you to complete a Cash Breakdown List for a non-standard deposit. This applies for:
- Cash deposits of over CZK 50,000 or the equivalent in a foreign currency
- Deposits of 50 and more coins
Due to legal obligations, we may ask you to show an identity document for an above limit deposit. For some types of operations we may ask for information about the origin and purpose of the funds.
Other Special Services
Cash delivery
Use it when there is no ATM or branch nearby. It can be useful when you are in a cottage far from civilisation, if a sudden illness occurs, or as a regular pension for your parents or grandparents.
- Delivered anywhere in the CR – arranged by Czech Post, and all that is needed is an identity document
- You always know when the cash will arrive – we will send you the delivery time by SMS
- Simple to arrange – you can make an order at Czech Post branches or on the +420 495 300 300 line
- We also deliver regularly – up to CZK 20,000 at one time
To use this service you only have to be the holder of, or a person with access to, a current account.
Safe deposit boxes
Store your valuable items and important documents reliably in safe deposit boxes at our branches. You rent the box and you or a person authorised by you can access it at any time during branch office hours.
What can we protect for you
- Valuables (gold, commemorative coins, jewels, antiques)
- Documents (original contracts, birth certificates, travel or other personal documents, wills, patents, deeds of donation, securities)
What a safe deposit box cannot be used for
- Weapons, explosives and dangerous chemicals
We can check the contents of a box for security reasons.
