How to get the HC SPARTA card

If you don't have an account with ČSOB yet

  • Online - You can open a new account online in just a few minutes along with your HC SPARTA Card. Available only for Czech and Slovak citizens. Prepare either 2 documents (ID + driving licence or passport) or BankID (bank identity).
  • At ČSOB branches and post offices - Find the nearest branch or Czech Post Office on the map and arrange your account and HC SPARTA card with a banker.

If you already have a CSOB account

  • You can get the HC SPARTA card for your existing account by calling +420 495 300 300. Alternatively, you can visit us in person at a ČSOB branch or at the Czech Post Office .
  • The fastest way to arrange a card is in the ČSOB Smart application (Cards section, and at the end of the list of cards you will find the option "Arrange another card"). See our step-by-step guide.

 

How to order an additional Sparta card

  1. In the bottom menu, select Tabs. On the far right of the card selection, select Arrange another card.
  2. Select the account and cardholder for whom you want to order the card.
  3. Select HC Sparta card (type Debit MC HC Sparta Praha)
  4. Choose whether you want and plastic card. You can also customize the address where the card will be sent.
  5. Set your limits and number for SMS codes (as a backup in case of Smart Key failure).
  6. We will show you the business terms and conditions and other required documents.
  7. You will sign the contract electronically in the Smart Key app.
  8. The application will take time to process a few seconds, please hold on.
  9. Done, you have your card ordered and you can insure it against loss and theft.

 

The fastest way to open a current account is online

All you need is a bank ID from your current bank or two documents (Czech citizenship ID and driver's license or passport) and another account. You can then open an account in a few minutes in the ČSOB Smart mobile application.

Frequently asked questions

What payment method should I choose on the HC SPARTA fanshop to get rewards for payments on Sparta?

When buying on the official HC SPARTA e-shop you can choose between several payment types (card, Apple/Google Pay, bank transfer, payment buttons, etc.). In order to receive the reward of CZK 300 / 1,500 you must pay via the "On-line Card Payment" option. Other payment types are not considered card payments but are e.g. account to account transfers.

Will we also see the HC SPARTA card image in Apple Pay or Google Pay?

Mobile wallets will show you the correct visual of the HC SPARTA card.

Can I get multiple financial rewards?

Each client can receive a maximum of one financial reward from ČSOB, even if he/she has several HC SPARTA cards issued to his/her account (e.g. for a partner or children) or has several accounts with this card.

Can I also issue a HC SPARTA card with my Premium Account?

Yes, the HC SPARTA card can be issued as an additional card to Visa Infinite, which is an integral part of the Premium Account.

How can I get this card for my family or children?

If your child has an account with us, you can apply for a card for them in the ČSOB Smart app (the application is submitted in the Smart app by a parent or legal guardian who has the child’s account linked to their app). If your child does not have an account with us, first open one for them, for example in the ČSOB Smart app. You can then apply for an additional card for them, such as one featuring a sports club design.
