To our clients we are their partner in the world or finance. We know that they rely on our products and services for their entire lives. We are therefore familiar with the problems and challenges they face in the productive stage of life as well as later in old age.
We stretch out a helping hand to our clients in every life situation. We offer specialised products and services, support nonprofit projects and play an active role in public discussion.
Whom we help
- We focus on seniors and people nearing the senior stage of their lives.
- We also do not forget the “sandwiched” generation that raises children while also devoting time and energy to their parents.
- Although longevity refers to leading a long life, the Longevity pillar of ČSOB’s CSR also includes support for people with physical disabilities and sight or hearing impairments.
Our partners
- ČSOB supports a project of the Sue Ryder Home advisory centre. Since 1998, the centre’s experts have been assisting seniors and their relatives in a range of areas including legislation, palliative care and financial subsidies put towards care expenses. The centre also assists seniors living in their own households and secures quality care for patients confined to bed.
- In cooperation with the Sue Ryder Home, ČSOB has launched the Find your way through senior age online portal that contains a wealth of useful and practical information.
- We also contribute to Konto Bariéry’s project SenSen that supports active seniors.
Tearing down barriers in our branch offices
- More than 80 percent of ČSOB’s branch offices are barrier-free. Clients can make use of lifts and ramps, and summon assistance from the branch office staff. ČSOB also offers the option of a home delivery.
- Almost 90 percent of ČSOB’s ATMs offer voice assistance for people with sight impairments. All branch offices of Poštovní spořitelna and selected branch offices of ČSOB are fitted with acoustic beacons that assist people with sight impairments in getting around.
- Poštovní spořitelna and a hundred ČSOB branch offices offer the eScribe service which displays a transcription of verbal communication between the client and the teller, improving mutual understanding where needed.
- The ČSOB headquarters building in Prague-Radlice is also barrier-free. With the bank’s support the nearby metro station has been equipped with a set of guiding grooves for the visually impaired.
