Insurance for Legal Protection of Motor Vehicle Drivers D.A.S.

Insurance intended for holders of payment cards who are also drivers of motor vehicles. This insurance helps them when applying their legal interests, avoiding the risk of incurred costs, or potentially mitigating costs.



Benefits

With this insurance you receive legal assistance in the event of unexpected legal and negotiating complications related to driving a motor vehicle.


Other merits include:


  • compensation for costs and expenses used for the application of the rights and authorised claims of the payment card holder has a motor vehicle driver,
  • legal consultation on an emergency hotline.

Get Acquainted

The validity of the insurance extends to insurance events that occur within the Czech Republic, in European countries, Mediterranean island countries, and states neighbouring the Mediterranean Sea. The insurance event must come under the jurisdiction of the courts in these areas.


The subject of the insurance is the assertion of the legal interests of the cardholder with regards to driving a motor vehicle:



D.A.S. will pay the necessary advances, expenditures, and costs for the assertion of the rights and authorised interests up to 300 000 CZK in a single insurance case, particularly:


  • Costs associated with the activities of D.A.S. specialists authorised to settle specific cases of damages,
  • remuneration and costs for the selected legal representative with their registered offices at the locally applicable court, provided their appointment is essential for the successful settlement of the case,
  • judicial expenses and costs,
  • costs for witnesses and court experts called by the court,
  • expenses and costs of the counterparty which must be paid on the basis of the judicial ruling,
  • costs for the execution of a judicial ruling, one motion for each executive title,
  • expenses incurred by the insuree for travelling to judicial proceedings at which his presence is necessary.

Terms of Use

You receive the insurance as a bonus with your Gold or Business Card issued in one of our branches in the Czech Republic or as an enterpreneur you may conclude the insurance to any kind of your business card. The validity of the insurance is the same as for a payment card and expires on the day that the payment card expires, or at the request of the cardholder.
