Building Savings CMSS

Savings intended for citizens and companies to resolve existing or future residential needs. This is one of the most attractive financial products on the Czech banking market. CSOB group is leader of building savings on the market in the Czech Republic.

Benefits

Savings are supplemented by state benefits for citizens in the amount of 10% of the annual saved amount (at most however from 20 000 CZK). The benefits may thus amount to 2,000 CZK per annum.

Among other benefits:

a permanent interest rate,
investment insurance provided in accordance with the law up to an amount corresponding to 100 000 EUR,
possibility of opening additional building savings (without state benefits).

Regular saving will help you create the basic capital for resolving residential needs:

you deposit pre-stipulated amounts on your own building savings account,
if the contract includes a claim to state benefits for the year in question, the part of the savings exceeding 20 000 CZK in the year will be transferred to the next year,
there is no limit on how long you can save, the limit is the target amount,
combine the benefits of saving with the possibilities of the resulting loan.

Terms of Using State Benefits

As of January 1, 2004, state benefits may be legally used by:

citizens of the Czech Republic,
citizens of the European Union with a residence permit for the Czech Republic and a birth certificate number assigned by the relevant authority of the Czech Republic,
natural persons with permanent residence in the Czech Republic and a birth certificate number assigned by the relevant authority of the Czech Republic.

Other conditions of state benefits:

the support is due the participant throughout the term of saving, provided the contract includes a claim to state benefits,
is possible for the benefits to be divided among several contracts at once, however only up to the amount of 2 000 CZK per year,
the claim to state benefits is forfeited if the contract is terminated prior to its expiry,
legal entities do not have a claim to state benefits.
