According to the prestigious economic magazine Global Finance, CSOB is the best provider of financial services for international trade (BEST TRADE FINANCE PROVIDER AWARD 2008). This award assesses services of individual banks in the area of export financing, factoring, and documentary transactions and guarantees. The magazine awarded CSOB on the basis of the bank’s volume of transactions, market share, client service quality, price competitiveness and use of innovative technologies, primarily on-line client applications. The results will be published in the February printed edition of the Global Finance magazine, with the award ceremoniously handed over in October in Washington, D.C.
The Publisher and President of Global Finance magazine, Joseph D. CSOB is the holder of several other Global Finance magazine awards: In the category Best Bank for currency operations in the Czech Republic in the years 2003-2008, Best Bank in the CR for 2007 and in the category Best Sub-Custodian in the Czech Republic in the years 2005 and 2006.
