CSOB Term Deposit Plus

A deposit designed for citizens for a safe single deposition of funds rather for a longer period of time (when depositing funds for a shorter period of time, CSOB Savings Account is a more convenient product). Funds deposited to the account bear a higher interest rate than the classic current account.

Benefits

The account offers a higher interest rate compared with the current account. Its additional benefits include:

certain yield known in advance,
possibility of 20 % withdrawal without any penalty,
free account maintenance (including mailing of account statements),
safe deposit of financial funds,
automatic renewal of deposit.

If you have a current account with us, you can take advantage of the automatic renewal function at the deposit maturity:

select the amount you want to keep on your current account - when the term deposit matures, the funds are automatically transferred between the accounts, so that the limit set for the current account is maintained. The term deposit is then automatically renewed in the newly set amount,
determine the sum, which will be transferred on the date of the term deposit maturity from the current account in favor of the term deposit or vice versa. The deposit is then renewed automatically in the required amount.

Term Deposit Plus:

term of the deposit 2 or 3 years,
possibility of 20 % withdrawal without any penalty – maximum CZK 1 million, calculated on the account balance in the last day of the disposition period (after the renewal) or 6 th day after the account opening
maintenance of the account in the Czech Crowns,
the interest on the deposit may be transferred to a current account in CSOB or kept on the term deposit, where it increases its interest-bearing sum.

Terms of Use

To set up a time deposit, you only need:

for CR citizens – identity card + another proof of identity (insurance card, birth certificate, passport or a driver's license),
for foreigners – passport + another proof of identity.
