Depository of Physical Securities

This product is intended for legal entities and natural persons who have certified securities in their portfolio (stocks, debentures, investment certificates, etc). Under this product the bank does provide the payouts of proceeds and related legal steps that are subject to the contract.


The deposition of certified securities is governed by act no. 591/1992 Coll., on securities, as amended.

 


Terms of Use

  • an active current account kept with CSOB,
  • abstract from the Commercial Register, identification document (legal entities),
  • identification document (natural persons),
  • power of attorney for authorisation of CSOB.

 

Benefits

  • certified securities are handled only by contracturally authorised persons,
  • minimization of potential loss or destruction of certified securities,
  • insurance guarantee on deposited securities,
  • adminitrative arrangement of payout of principal or other prodeeds resulting from physical securities,
  • arrangement of exchange of physical securities (change of kind or type),
  • issuing confirmation of deposited certified securities (general meetings, audits, judicial proceedings, etc.),
  • sending electronic statements from the deposit account.
