CSOB Term Deposit Plus

A deposit account for private individuals who want to make a secure one-time deposit preferably for a longer period of time (for a shorter period a CSOB Savings Account is better). Interest income is higher than from a classic current account.

Benefits

The account has a higher interest rate than a current account. Other advantages include:

yield known in advance,
20 % of the deposit can be withdrawn at any time without sanctions,
free account maintenance (inc. sending account statements),
secure fund depositing,
automatic deposit renewal,
electronic banking control option (withdrawals and setting automatic renewal).

If you have a current account at CSOB, you can set up free automatic functions for the maturity date:

the amount you want to keep in the current account – on the due date funds are transferred between accounts (so that the limit is maintained in the current account) and the time deposit is renewed for a new amount,
the amount transferred on the due date from the current account to the time deposit account or vice versa – the deposit is then renewed for the respective amount.

Term Deposit Plus:

deposit duration 2 and 3 years,
20 % of the deposit can be withdrawn at any time without sanctions – max. CZK 1 million, calculated from the account balance on the last day of the disposal period (after renewal) or the sixth day after establishing the account,
account denominated in CZK,
the interest rate depends on the deposit period and the amount invested.

Terms

It is usually enough to submit a document to establish a savings account:

a Czech national (CR) – identity card,
a foreigner – passport or other documents as ČSOB may require.
