Electronic Signature

In the case of authorisation using an electronic signature, when setting up the CSOB Internetbanking 24 service you will receive a chip card on which your information and certificate for electronic signing will be saved.

You can log into the system using the chip card and use your electronic signature, which is generated on the chip card and is unique for each transaction, for authorising active transactions. A high degree of security is given by the fact that the chip card will never lose your information looking at information be retrieved from the card elsewhere. The card is protected with a PIN, without which it is impossible to use, and it is thus protected from this use by an authorised persons in the event of its loss or theft.
