The company was established in 1995 as a part of Patria Finance Group, and as early as from its establishment it has been one of the leading assets administrators in the Czech Republic. Since 2000 it has become a part of KBC group as CSOB, which joined KBC group in 1999. In 2002 CSOB became 20% shareholder of the company and in relation to this step most of the voting rights of Patria Finance shareholder have been transferred to CSOB and also the official name of the company changed. In 2004 CSOB Asset Management, a.s., together with CSOB, became the owner of CSOB Investicni spolecnost, a.s., which was one of the steps leading to completion of the consolidation process of the financial assets administration within the CSOB group.
The goal of the company in the portfolio management area is to provide highly individual services and complex services to private investors and legal entities.
Besides other members of CSOB group, the company serves numerous legal bodies including insurance companies, pension funds, government funds and enterprises, municipal subjects, trading, manufacturing and energetic corporations, housing, manufacturing or consumption co-operatives, trade unions, foundations and other non-profit organizations and also considerable group of private clients. We manage portfolios of many mutual funds CSOB and KBC and within the whole group CSOB Asset Management represents key competence centre for CEE region.
