Domestic Documentary Collection

A payment instrument intended for entrepreneurs and companies for secure trading. This is a form of payment whereby the issue of documents and release of goods are subject to payment, acceptance of a bill of exchange, or performance of other conditions by the customer.

Benefits

With a documentary collection you pay lower bank fees than with a documentary letter of credit.

Other merits include:

  • Considerably greater certainty of payment than in the case of non-documentary payments,
  • Until the moment of payment you, as the customer, have available finances which gives you greater flexibility,
  • We do not enter into your mutual payment obligation, we act only as an intermediary of the documents and for the transfer of money,
  • Certainty for the supplier that the customer will receive the documents only when meeting the collection conditions,
  • Our advisory services before the conclusion of the contract.

Get Acquainted

A documentary collection is used when business partners have no doubt as to the willingness and ability of the counterparty to pay for goods provided, but on the other hand are not willing to deliver goods only against compensation through a smooth payment.

  • In all cases this involves a payment obligation of the customer, not of the bank.

Terms of Use

Conditions for issuing documents for documentary collections:

  • D/P – documents against payment,
  • D/A – documents against acceptance,
  • Against other acts.

Collections are pro handled in accordance with the Unified Regulations for Collections (1995 Revision), published by the International Chamber Of Commerce in Paris as publication no. 522.
