Current Account for Notary Custody

This account is intended as an additional product for notaries, which gives them an overview of the separate management of their own main business account and the accounts where they deposit finances being kept in trust for their clients.

You can set up additional client accounts for your main account, with accounts for citizens and account for legal entities or entrepreneurs separately.

Among other merits are:

select between an account with no fees and no interest and an account with interest - you can have your accounts generate interest at a contractual or announced rate - current interest-rate,
an overview of all movements on the account via e-mail or SMS messages,
deposits and withdrawals for notary clients at all CSOB branches,
possibility of depositing funds in crowns and in select currencies.

The standard offer includes:

a current account in CZK or in select foreign currencies,
fees and interest charged through the main business account,
CSOB Electronic Banking for managing your account via a personal computer or by phone:
- CSOB Linka 24– manage your account over a telephone or mobile phone,
- CSOB Mobil 24– manage your account through an easy menu on the display of your mobile phone,
- CSOB Internetbanking 24– manage your account on any PC connected to the Internet with no need to install any application. Secure access to your account is insured by a chip card or SMS Key,
- alternatively CSOB BusinessBanking 24 - account management via any PC connected to the internet. The service consists of two applications – an Internet one (on-line mode) and a program installed on the client's PC (off-line mode), with annual renewal of the security certificate.

Terms of Use

The account may be opened by a notary, i.e. a natural person - entrepreneur, working on the basis of a notary certificate (the notary code). To open the account, it is necessary to set up a CSOB Podnikatelske Konto, CSOB Firm Account or CSOB Commercial Account.

To open the account you need only submit the following documents:

a letter of appointment from the Ministry of Justice,
authorisation to perform the activities of a notary public with an up-to-date abstract from the register of the Chamber of Notaries with a date no older than three months.
